Locked inside

The weather here in Hurdal has been so nice for two days now and I wish that I could spend my time outside enjoying the sunshine. Unfortunately, I’ve spent the past two days writing my exam and staying inside my room. The exam is finished tomorrow and hopefully we’ll have nice weather all week!

A little update from my writing, it’s good to have breaks sometimes so my writing is effective. I actually went out running earlier and that really helped to clear my head as well as talking to my family for  a couple of minutes. In a about a month I’ll get to see my family again, but before that there are so many things that are going to happen! I have so much to look forward to once this exam is over :-)

 

 

New cases

I ordered some new cases to my phone a while back from miniinthebox, a great place to order cases from. They’re cheap, high quality and the delivery is fast. I got mine yesterday and I’m really happy about all of them:

I also realized when I got this one case yesterday that it had the same pattern as my mac cover, which I made a while back.

It’s May, which has gotten a new meaning for me now – here in Hurdal it’s snowing! Hopefully it’ll get warmer soon.

 

A Summer Day

The last week we’ve had amazing weather here in Sucre. The sun has been shining, we’ve been wearing shorts and trying to get a tan. Today it has been warmer than in a long time and Hilde and I spent the afternoon lying down and enjoying the sun.

 

Can’t complain about the weather

The weather so far here has been great. Always high 20’s and with few clouds. Shorts, sunscreen and water have been our best friends so far. What we are missing is a nice pool, but we can’t have everything:)

Yesterday we spent the day on a tourist bus which took us around the city. We got to see a great deal of this huge city and enjoyed getting tanned too!

Not in my favor

After five years in Mongolia you get used to it not raining. No matter how cold it is the sun was usually shining in Ulaanbaatar and you can get used to that after five years. However, here in Sucre the sun hasn’t been shining the last couple of days. We have gotten used to the sun here and spending our days trying to get a tan while reading a book or listening to music. Lately we’ve been inside with a sweater on.

I looked at the weather forecast today and it doesn’t like it’ll get any better before next week, so I’ll just have to get used to the rain.

An upside is that the weather in Arica looks great and I can’t wait to be there :)

Unfortunately I’ve gotten a cold together with other things, and since there isn’t much one can do when you are sick, I’ve been crocheted this thing to Ingvild. She doesn’t have a nightstand so this thing keeps her phone and iPod from falling out of her bed during the night.
