Who doesn’t love ligretto?

Yesterday we were invited by Kjerstin to an evening with ligretto and I, of course, was really excited to play ligretto again, unfortunately we don’t play it that much here at home. We were 8 people who started playing and a lot of people comes a lot of cards so the game is almost twice as fast :)

Kjerstin had also made “fastelavens boller”. They don’t have the same kind of cream here as they do in Norway, but they were still great.

 

Boller and passion fruit juice, homemade and excellent! Great company!

Today I was going to go swimming, but the pool was closed. I haven’t been in a pool in such a long time, and since I didn’t get the chance to swim during our vacation I really wanted to go now. But I guess I’ll just have to go another day. Ingvild is making taco pie today and I can’t wait to try it.

 

Watermelon

Every time I eat watermelon I get such a summer feeling. I don’t know what it is, but watermelon for me is summer. Although December is soon here, the weather here in Sucre is great and I don’t miss the cold one bit. Yesterday we were 11 people who played ligretto and although it was very fun it was sometimes very confusing and there were so many cards that were put on the table at all times. But it’s still one of my favorite games. 

New Friends

Yesterday we invited some friends from church over. Ingvild made scones and I made cinnamon buns. We also had some norwegian chocolate which they loved. The chocolate here in Bolivia is good, but the Norwegian chocolate is the best. Tonight we’re having a ligretto evening and it’s been far too long since I’ve played it.

There was a lot of laughter yesterday. Our Spanish is still kind of limited and they don’t speak English, but we were still able to communicate. Kjerstin was also a great help :)

Hilde and I went shopping earlier in the day and we bought this huge watermelon. It was delicious :)

 

 

Friday Night

Had a really great day today because we did not have school, felt like an early weekend. Instead I spent the day with friends. We played ligretto again

and took weird pictures before we watched “Wild Child”. Here with Linda and Annlaug. Kaja had also baked really nice cinnamon buns :)
Tomorrow I’m going to Oslo for a day trip.

 

Ligretto

This has to be my favorite games of all times. It’s fun and it has speed. If you haven’t played it yet I strongly recommend it! Yesterday we were 9 people who played it and I’ve never played it with that many people before and there were a lot of things going on at the same time, but still really fun.
